Welcome to
Established in 1986, the Tri-City American Legion was chartered to serve the communities of New Brighton, Columbia Heights, and St. Anthony, Minnesota, hence the name "Tri-City." In addition to offering membership to all United States Veterans, the Tri-City Post has Auxiliary and SAL (Sons of the American Legion) units. With over 600 Legion members, the post has a strong presence within the community and provides / supports a variety of social activities and adult/youth programs -- all aimed at building a strong sense of community and Americanism.
Consider Tri-City's award-winning Color Guard unit, which exemplifies our pride in our country. Or, Tri-City's active Blood Donor Club, serving veterans and their family members who are in medical need. And look to the many active Tri-City volunteers, who give of their time to serve disabled veterans and others in the community who are in need of a helping hand, a smile and a kind word. Post 513 also has a stong tradition of serving the young people of our cities -- and beyond. While already having been a long-time sponsor of youth baseball programs for the "tri-cities," beginning in 1990, the Tri-City Legion further expanded its community support in the northeastern suburbs by volunteering to sponsor American Legion baseball programs within neighboring communities in the Mounds View school district.
We invite you to explore the following sections of our web site -- to learn how you can partake in, and contribute to, our efforts to continue to build a strong sense of community and Americanism for the benefit of all. As you can see, we are proud of our Post, its programs, and the many people who contribute their time to make it what it is.
